Purple and gold to take on field at NCAA West Lafayette Regional starting Monday

COOKEVILLE, Tenn. – The Tennessee Tech men's golf team officially begins its first-ever appearance in the NCAA Championships Monday morning, competing in round one of three at the West Lafayette Regionals on the Kampen Course at the Birck Boilermaker Golf Complex.

NCAA WEST LAFAYETTE REGIONAL: May 13-15, 2024 – 54 holes stroke-play (18 Monday, 18 Tuesday, 18 Wednesday), located at the par-72, 7,461-yard Kampen Course at the Birck Boilermaker Golf Complex in West Lafayette, Ind. Play will begin with round one Monday morning with tee times starting at 7:00 a.m.CT. The Golden Eagles will open their tee times at 8:50 a.m.

GOLDEN EAGLE LINEUP: Competing for the Golden Eagles are sophomore Haden Maxwell, senior Mark McDearman, junior Jackson Skeen, senior Sean Anderson, and freshman Alex Broyles. Available as a substitute during the tournament is junior Alexander Bassel.

THE COMPETITION: The 13-team field consists of (in order of ranking): Vanderbilt, Arizona, Florida, New Mexico, host Purdue, San Diego State, Mississippi State, Indiana, College of Charleston, Stetson, Colorado State, Southern Illinois, and Tennessee Tech. Teams that have just individuals competing include Cincinnati, Illinois State, Michigan, Middle Tennessee, Rider, Toledo, Valparaiso, Wisconsin, and WKU.
