Golden Eagles make trip back to Sevierville to host 11th annual Bobby Nichols Intercollegiate

COOKEVILLE, Tenn. – The Tennessee Tech men's golf team returns to Sevierville, Tenn. to host the 11th annual Bobby Nichols Intercollegiate at Sevierville Golf Club. Play begins Sunday and will run through Tuesday while teams compete on the River Course.

BOBBY NICHOLS INTERCOLLEGIATE: Mar. 17-19, 2024 – 54 holes (18 Sunday, 18 Monday, 18 Tuesday), located at the par-71, 6,789-yard River Course at Sevierville Golf Club in Sevierville, Tenn. Play will begin each day with tee times off holes 1 and 10, beginning at 8:30 a.m. ET.

GOLDEN EAGLE LINEUP: Competing for the Golden Eagles are junior Jackson Skeen, senior Sean Anderson, sophomore Anders Larson, senior Mark McDearman, and sophomore Hayden Maxwell. Competing as individuals are freshman Alex Broyles, junior Alexander Bassel, and junior Avery Irwin

THE COMPETITION: The 15-team field consists of host Tennessee Tech, as well as Alabama A&M, Bellarmine, Belmont, Chicago State, Christian Brothers, Cleveland State, Delta State, Detroit Mercy, Evansville, Lee University, Morehead State, Northern Kentucky, Tennessee State, and Southern Indiana. West Virginia will also compete with individuals only.

THOUGHTS FROM HEAD COACH POLK BROWN: "We're always excited to get back to Sevierville to host the Bobby Nichols Intercollegiate. I can't believe this is the 11th year we've had the event. The guys played very solid at Sea Palms and we look to continue that momentum in this event. We're excited to see what they can do with this opportunity."
