Tech men's golf team ready for Grover Page Classic in Jackson, Tenn.

COOKEVILLE, Tenn. – The Tennessee Tech men's golf team will head right back out to the links Monday and Tuesday, competing in UT Martin's Grover Page Classic at Jackson Country Club in Jackson, Tenn.

GROVER PAGE CLASSIC: Sept. 18-19, 2023 – 54 holes (36 Monday, 18 Tuesday), located at the par-72, 6,849-yard Jackson Country Club in Jackson, Tenn. Play will begin Monday with 36 holes of action with an 8:15 a.m. CT shotgun start. Tech will compete in the final round on Tuesday, also featuring an 8:15 a.m. shotgun start.

GOLDEN EAGLE LINEUP: Competing for the Golden Eagles are junior Jackson Skeen, sophomore Haden Maxwell, sophomore Anders Larson, senior Sean Anderson, and senior Mark McDearman. Playing as individuals are junior Alexander Bassel and freshman Peyton Ogle

THE COMPETITION: The 14-team field consists of host UT Martin, as well as Austin Peay, Belmont, Eastern Illinois, Missouri State, Murray State, New Orleans, Nicholls, Presbyterian, Samford, SIUE, Southeastern Louisiana, Tennessee State, and Tennessee Tech.

THOUGHTS FROM HEAD COACH POLK BROWN: "We are excited to get back to Jackson Country Club for the Grover Page Classic. It is an outstanding course where we have had some success in the past, and we will look to continue that trend this time around as well. I am looking forward to seeing how the guys bounce back from our performance at Streamsong. This is a resilient bunch and I believe we will do well."
