Golden Eagles open 2023-24 campaign at Allstate Streamsong Invitational

COOKEVILLE, Tenn. – The Tennessee Tech men's golf team will officially begin its 2023-24 campaign with three rounds in three days of action at the Allstate Streamsong Invitational at Streamsong Resort in Bowling Green, Fla., competing Monday through Wednesday.

ALLSTATE STREAMSONG INVITATIONAL: Sept. 11-13, 2023 – 54 holes (18 Monday, 18 Tuesday, 18 Wednesday), located at the par-73, 7,331-yard Streamsong Black Course at Streamsong Resort in Bowling Green, Fla. Play will begin Sunday with 18 holes of action. Tech will compete in one more round each on Monday and Tuesday to conclude the event.

GOLDEN EAGLE LINEUP: Competing for the Golden Eagles are junior Jackson Skeen, sophomore Anders Larson, senior Sean Anderson, sophomore Haden Maxwell, and junior Alexander Bassel.

THE COMPETITION: The 11-team field consists of host Lipscomb, as well as Austin Peay, Elon, FAU, James Madison, Kennesaw State, North Texas, Tennessee Tech, USC Upstate, Wichita State, and WKU.

THOUGHTS FROM HEAD COACH POLK BROWN: "We are so excited to start off our season with the Allstate Streamsong Invitational hosted by Lipscomb. Streamsong is a world-renowned golf destination and to be able to kick off the 2023-24 season with this event and this field is such an amazing opportunity for our program. The guys have been getting after it since returning to school and we look forward to getting started."
