COOKEVILLE, Tenn. – The Tennessee Tech women's basketball team hits the road for the final time in 2013, heading to Arkansas State and Arkansas. The Golden Eagles challenge the RedWolves in Jonesboro on Wednesday at noon CT, then head to Fayetteville to take on the Razorbacks at 7 p.m. Friday.

The Golden Eagles are looking to bounce back from back-to-back home losses as they were downed by Memphis in double overtime, 78-76, on Saturday and lost to Florida International, 70-65, Monday in games that both went down to the wire. Against FIU, the Golden Eagles (3-7) got 13 points each from Candace Parson, Diamond Henderson and Hannah Goolsby, and 12 more from T'Keyah Williams. Kayla Brewer scored nine.

Arkansas State is 4-5 heading into Wednesday's event, including a current four-game losing streak. This marks the RedWolves' first game at home since November 22. ASU is led by Aundrea Gamble, who tops the team in points (17.4), rebounds (6.8), assists (3.3), steals (2.3), and minutes (33.8).

The Razorbacks are boasting an 11-0 record heading into the Friday game. The Southeastern Conference foe is receiving votes in the national polls. Jessica Jackson is one of three Razorbacks averaging double-digits, leading with 14.5 per game. Kiera Peak is adding 12.5 while Jhasmin Bowen is averaging 10.6. Bowen leads the team in rebounding with six per game.
Tech leads the all-time series against Arkansas, 1-0, as they last matched up in the 1981-82 season with Tech winning, 96-75. The Golden Eagles are split in their challenges with the RedWolves, 1-1, losing in the most recent game in 2000-01, 71-61. Tech won the 1982-83 game, 71-47, at home in Eblen Center.
