COOKEVILLE, Tenn. – The Tennessee Tech women's basketball team continues its life on the road as they head out of town to Alcorn State on Thursday at 7 p.m. CT, and the University of South Alabama on Saturday at 1:05 pm.

In a rematch from last season, Tech (2-4) and Alcorn State (1-4) meet up for the third time. The first time the Golden Eagles faced the Braves was during the 1994-95 season at the Lady Blazer Invitational hosted by the University of Alabama-Birmingham. The Golden Eagles won that match-up, 85-69. Last season, Tech again got the upper hand against ASU. The Braves came into the Eblen Center and were met with an offensive fury from the Golden Eagles, as Tech won 74-57. Diamond Henderson added five assists to her 18-point performance. Molly Heady added seven points, as did T'Keyah Williams who lead all rebounders with eight.

Tech will match up with USA (1-6) for the first time in program history. The Jaguars are lead by Megan Dunn who is averaging 11.7 points and Jennifer Johnson who is averaging 10.5 points.

The Golden Eagles were unable to come out of their most recent road trip to Las Vegas with a win, as they were beat by Marquette, 84-64, and by Ball State, 76-64. Henderson put up two 22-point games to lead Tech.

Heady has been on fire from beyond the arch so far this season. Heady is 14-23 from deep, a clip of a blistering .609. The sizzling shooter leads the conference and the nation with her impressive marksmanship. The team is seventh in the nation at .42.

Thursday game at ASU will be broadcast on WHUB 1400 AM and Saturday's afternoon game will follow the men's game at Tennessee on 106.1 FM The Eagles. The Golden Eagle Sports Network's Dylan Vazzano will call both games.
