COOKEVILLE, Tenn. – The Tennessee Tech women's basketball team makes its lone home appearance during an otherwise six-game road swing on Sunday as they take on the Valparaiso Crusaders at 2 p.m. CT.

This is the first ever meeting between Tennessee Tech and Valparaiso. This will be the first time the Crusaders have traveled to the Volunteer State in over 10 years, as their last game was a heartbreaking 57-56 loss on Jan. 6, 2003 at Lipscomb.

The Golden Eagles (1-2) are looking to find some rhythm after a 90-45 loss last Thursday to the Mississippi State Bulldogs. Tech gave up 34 turnovers while also committing 30 personal fouls. Junior T'Keyah Williams led the Golden Eagles with eight points and three rebounds.

The Crusaders come into the Eblen Center with a 0-4 record, 0-3 on the road. They are led by a 2012-13 Second Team All-Horizon League player Tabitha Gerardot. Gerardot averages 15.5 points per game and 9.2 rebounds per game.

Sunday's game will be the First Tennessee Bank poster game. First Tennessee Bank is the corporate sponsor of Tennessee Tech Basketball and will host Tech's annual Basketball Poster games this year. The men's poster game is scheduled for Tuesday, Nov. 26 versus East Tennessee State.

Also, any fan to bring their church bulletin to the game will receive one free ticket. Season tickets are available by calling the TTU ticket office at (931) 372-3940.
