COOKEVILLE, Tenn. – The Tennessee Tech women’s
basketball team hosted its final summer camp this Saturday in the
Eblen Center.
“Our Elite Position Camp is my favorite camp because it is for the “serious” basketball player. It is a teaching / learning camp. We don’t do a lot of playing but we try to teach the campers through drill work and small group competition just as we do with our Golden Eagles,” said head coach Jim Davis.
The Elite Position camp is the fourth camp that the TTU coaching staff has run this summer. It follows two team camps and a Lil’ Eagles camp. There were 25 athletes in participation.
The Golden Eagle women’s basketball team open their season with a home exhibition match versus Truett McConnell on Nov. 5.
