Special invitation to Cumberland, White Counties for Jan. 11 doubleheader

COOKEVILLE, Tenn. -- Residents of neighboring Cumberland and White Counties are invited to take advantage of a special, one dollar ticket offer when Tennessee Tech hosts an Ohio Valley Conference doubleheader on Saturday, Jan. 11.

The Golden Eagles host SIU Edwardsville, with the women's game tipping off at 5:30 p.m. and the men's contest to follow at 7:30 p.m. The ticket office and gates in Eblen Center open at 4:30 p.m.

It's Cumberland County and White County Night, and residents of those two counties can purchase tickets at the game for just one dollar per person. A little later in the year (Feb. 1), Tech will host Jackson County and Overton County Night at another OVC doubleheader.

Residents of Putnam County were treated to one special discount night in December for an OVC women's game, with a second Putnam County Night planned at the men's game on Thursday, Jan. 9, against Eastern Illinois.

For each of the special discounted County Nights, fans can purchase tickets at the Eblen Center Ticket Office on the day of the game. For additional informtation, please call the ticket office at (931) 372-3940.
