COOKEVILLE, Tenn. – Mark it on your calendars Tech fans. Saturday, February 22 has been chosen as the date for the Tennessee Tech men's basketball team's annual Legends Night. The Golden Eagles will host Ohio Valley Conference rival Jacksonville State in the home finale of the 2013-14 regular season.
With a 7 p.m. CT start, all former players, coaches, managers, and other former Tech basketball personnel are invited back to the Eblen Center for food, fellowship, and some great basketball. All alums of the program will be invited for a reception in the Eagles Nest located on the fourth floor of the Eblen Center at 6 p.m.
The contest against the Gamecocks also marks Senior Night for the men's program. Each senior member of the Golden Eagles (Matt Marseille, Dennis Ogbe, and Jeremiah Samarrippas) will be honored prior to the 7 p.m. start on the court.
At halftime, all alums will be asked to convene on the court and be recognized for their hard work and dedication to both Tech athletics and the Golden Eagle basketball program.
