COOKEVILLE, Tenn. -- The weekly Tennessee Tech Basketball
Sidelines Lunch begins next Tuesday, December 3, in the Eagles Nest
of the Eblen Center, featuring Golden Eagle coaches Jim Davis and
Steve Payne. The lunch is open to the public.
Each weekly lunch begins at 11:30 a.m. and the coaches begin
speaking at 12:10 p.m. They will discuss upcoming games as well as
take a look back at recent action for their teams. The coaches use
video highlights to help illustrate their comments. Each week's
lunch is wrapped up before 1 p.m.
The cost of the event is $10 per person, which includes lunch,
beverage and dessert.
The women’s team will be coming off a trip to Las Vegas for the South Point Thanksgiving Shootout as coach Davis will be getting his team ready for a two-game road swing at Alcorn State on Thursday, December 5, and South Alabama on Saturday, December 7.
As far as the men’s team is concerned, they will have just
closed out their four-game homestand and will set their sights on a
pair on in-state battles, traveling to Lipscomb on Thursday and the
University of Tennessee on Saturday.
The lunch is scheduled for each Tuesday throughout the basketball
season, with a break on Dec. 24 and 31 for the holidays.
