COOKEVILLE, Tenn. – Tennessee Tech women's basketball head coach Sytia Messer would like to invite coaches of all levels to join her in the first annual Sytia Messer Basketball Coaching Clinic. The clinic this year will headline legendary Tennessee Tech head coach Bill Worrell at the Eblen Center on October 9 from 8 a.m. until 12:30 p.m.  Following a presentation by coach Worrell, participants will get an inside look at the 2010-11 Golden Eagle women's basketball team while coach Messer gives her commentary throughout the practice.  

The morning event will be held at the Eblen Center (1100 McGee Blvd), beginning Saturday, October 9 at 8 a.m. The $15 registration fee includes breakfast, t-shirt and the clinic.

"We are extremely excited to host this clinic and to have the opportunity to interact with other great coaches! This is a great opportunity to get great basketball minds together and discuss basketball philosophy with one another. Coaches that attend the clinic will learn a tremendous amount of basketball from the TTU coaching staff and Coach Worrell," Messer said.
