COOKEVILLE, Tenn. – The first of two Sunday doubleheaders
coming up in the next few weeks, Tennessee Tech’s games
against Eastern Illinois this weekend will be the first of two
“Church Bulletin Sunday” promotions.
It’s also Jr. Pro Day in Eblen Center Sunday when the Golden
Eagles host the Panthers beginning with a women’s tipoff at 1
p.m. The men’s contest is scheduled to start at 4 p.m.
Fans may purchase tickets for $1 each just by showing a church
bulletin at the ticket office. There is a limit of four $1 tickets
per bulletin.
In addition to that offer, Tech is inviting all area youth who
participate in the Jr. Pro Basketball league as guests for the
doubleheader. Those players will receive free admission to the game
by wearing their Jr. Pro uniform.
The second “Church Bulletin Sunday” will be held
Sunday, Jan. 2, for another matinee doubleheader. On that
afternoon, the Tech women host St. Louis University at 2 p.m.,
followed at 4 p.m. by the men’s team facing Bluefield
College.
