COOKEVILLE, Tenn. -- Scores of people came through the Memorial Gymnasium Saturday on the campus of Tennessee Tech for the Putnam County YMCA Healthy Kids Day.

In attendance were members of the Tennessee Tech women's basketball team who interacted with several kids during the event, which included some autograph signings and a casual shoot around with their youngest fans.

 Healthy Kids Day is a nationwide effort to encourage kids to get moving, and to create activities that foster healthy living. It is part of the YMCA's nationwide goal to help more kids and their families become more physically active and to stay healthy.
