COOKEVILLE, Tenn. – Looking to rebound off of a tough loss to Austin Peay, the Tennessee Tech women's basketball team will take on SIU Edwardsville Tuesday in its final regular season road game.

This will be the second meeting between the Golden Eagles and the Cougars, with TTU winning their first encounter last season 68-60 in Cookeville.

Four Golden Eagles scored at least 12 points in their game against SIUE last season with sophomore center Tiara Hopper leading the way with 14. Junior guards Rachel Glidden and Tacarra Hayes, along with sophomore guard Kylie Cook, each added 12 points.

Tech (20-6, 14-3 OVC) currently owns a 1.5 game lead over UT Martin and Morehead State and has posted its 26th 20-win season. The last time the Golden Eagles reached the 20-win plateau was in the 2005-06 season when Tech finished with a 23-9 record.

SIU Edwardsville is 8-14 on the season and won its last game against IPWF. Along with their game against Tech on Tuesday, the Cougars will also host Southeast Missouri Monday. Their original game day was set on Feb. 1, but bad weather forced the game to be rescheduled.

Opening tip between the Golden Eagles and the Cougars is set for 5:30 p.m.
