COOKEVILLE, Tenn. – The Tennessee Tech women's basketball team is looking for its first five-game winning streak since the 2005-06 season as it heads to Nashville Saturday to take on the Tennessee State Tigers.

This will be the 55th meeting between the Golden Eagles and the Tigers, with TTU owning the series edge at 44-10. Last season, Tech split the season series with TSU as both teams won on the road.
Tech (13-4, 7-1 OVC) recently won its seventh OVC contest of the season with a 69-65 victory over Austin Peay on Thursday. Junior guard Tacarra Hayes recorded a game-high 23 points, while junior guard Rachel Glidden added 16 points while shooting 8-of-8 from the free throw line.

Tennessee State is 5-13 on the season and is currently tied with Southeast Missouri and Murray State for seventh place in the conference with a 2-6 OVC record. The Tigers are on a four-game skid including a pair of home losses to Austin Peay and Jacksonville State.
