COOKEVILLE, Tenn. – The Tennessee Tech women's basketball team will learn who they will face and where on Sunday for the NCAA Women's Basketball Tournament and they want you to share in the excitement and celebrate the accomplishments of the 2024-25 campaign.
The selection show event will be held at Midtown Social (565 South Jefferson) on Sunday night. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. and the team will arrive to the location at 6 p.m. with fans asked to create a celebratory lineup at 5:45 p.m. to welcome the team. The pre-party will be held from 5:30 to 6:45 p.m. The selection show itself will begin at 7 p.m.
The Tech women's basketball team, ranked No. 25 in the CollegeInsider.com Women's Mid-Major Top 25 on Tuesday, won both the Ohio Valley Conference regular-season and tournament championships for the first time since 1999-2000 for their 19th regular-season title and 11th OVC tournament crown.
It is the Golden Eagles' second visit to the NCAA Tournament in three seasons and 12th in program history. In 2023, Tech defeated Monmouth in the NCAA First Four before falling to regional top-seed Indiana.
