COOKEVILLE, Tenn. – It's not long before basketball season starts in earnest and the Tennessee Tech women's basketball team has an exciting slate in store for the 2024-25 campaign.

The Golden Eagles will host Lipscomb in the annual Purple Palooza exhibition contest on Oct. 29.

The regular season begins Nov. 4 as Tech will host three of its first four games. Emory & Henry comes into Cookeville on Nov. 4, followed by a visit to Southern Conference champion Chattanooga on Nov. 7. The Golden Eagles then entertain North Alabama and Jackson State on Nov. 10 and 14 respectively.

Tech goes on a four-game road trip in the latter days of November and early December as it travels to long-time rival Middle Tennessee on Nov. 19, to East Tennessee on Nov. 23, to Samford on Nov. 26, then returns from the Thanksgiving holiday for a cross-country trip to Colorado on Dec. 3.

The Golden Eagles close out the non-conference slate on Dec. 6 with a visit from the University of the Cumberlands for the team's annual Education Day contest.

Ohio Valley Conference play begins earlier this year following last season's expansion, giving each team two meetings against each other. The league schedule starts on the road with a Dec. 17 visit to Western Illinois and a Dec. 19 game at Lindenwood.

The new year begins in Cookeville with a Jan. 2 contest against defending OVC champ Southern Indiana with Morehead State following two days later. After a road swing to Eastern Illinois on Jan. 9 and SIUE on Jan. 11, Tech returns for a pair of home contests on Jan. 16 vs. Southeast Missouri and Jan. 18 vs. Little Rock.

The Golden Eagles will be road warriors in the final days of January as they head to Tennessee State on Jan. 23, UT Martin on Jan. 25, Morehead State on Jan. 30 and Southern Indiana on Feb. 1. Tech returns home on Feb. 6 to take on SIUE and then Eastern Illinois on Feb. 8, before loading the bus once more to head to Little Rock (Feb. 13) and Southeast Missouri (Feb. 15).

Tech will close out the regular season with a four-game home stand, hosting UT Martin (Feb. 20), Tennessee State (Feb. 22), Western Illinois (Feb. 27) and Lindenwood (March 1).

The Ohio Valley Conference Basketball Championships return to Evansville and the Ford Center on March 5-8.

Start times will be announced at a later date.
