COOKEVILLE, Tenn. – With the regular-season championship in tow, the Tennessee Tech women's basketball team also collected several All-Ohio Valley Conference honors on Tuesday as the league announced its postseason honors on the eve of its tournament, which starts Wednesday in Evansville.

Junior guard Reghan Grimes was named to the All-OVC first-team roster, while Peyton Carter and Keeley Carter were both named to the second-team. Keeley Carter and true freshman Chloe Larry were both selected to the All-Newcomer Team.

The five total selections are the most for the Golden Eagles since the 1991-92 season and tied for the third-most in program history.

With the Golden Eagles leading the conference in scoring offense, scoring margin, 3-point percentage and 3-point defense, rebounding, blocks and assists, as well as second in scoring defense and assist/turnover ratio, there's plenty of proof as to why the Tech women's basketball team earned its spots on the teams and the regular-season title.

Grimes finished the regular season scoring 368 points (12.7 per game) and collecting 155 rebounds (5.3 per game). She shot .444 from the field, .359 from 3-point range and .734 at the line. She also had 71 assists, 15 blocks and 46 steals.

Peyton Carter ended the regular-season campaign with 336 points (11.6 per game) and 144 rebounds (5.0 per game). She shot .396 from the field, .368 from 3-point range and .848 at the stripe. Keeley Carter, who was named the OVC's Newcomer of the Week four times this season, scored 345 points (11.9 per game) and pulled down 106 rebounds (3.7 per game). She shot .471 from the floor, .435 from 3-point range and .769 at the free-throw line.

Across all games played, Peyton Carter ranked 17th in scoring, fourth in assists, 11th in steals, second in assist/turnover ratio, first in 3-pointers made and first in minutes played. Keeley Carter ranked 15th in scoring, 15th in assists and 12th in 3-pointers made.

In league play, Keeley Carter was ninth in scoring (14.2 ppg) and Peyton Carter 19th (11.8 ppg). Peyton was 20th in rebounds (5.2 rpg), third in assists (77), ninth in steals (37), third in 3-pointers made (47), second in assist/turnover ratio (2.03), 12th in defensive rebounds (79) and second in minutes played (36.96 mpg). Keeley was ninth in free-throw percentage (.805) and seventh in 3-pointers made (38).

Larry, who was named the OVC Freshman of the Week four times this season, finished her rookie regular-season campaign with 333 points (11.5 per game) and 138 rebounds (4.8 per game), while shooting .410 from the field, .356 from beyond the arc and .835 at the line.
