COOKEVILLE, Tenn. --- With their first conference win under their belts, the Tennessee Tech Golden Eagles will look to keep their new found momentum going as they host the Tennessee State Tigers Monday evening.

The opening tip is set for 7 p.m.

TTU recently earned its first Ohio Valley Conference victory of the season as it handily defeated Morehead State 68-50 Saturday. In their victory over the Eagles, Tech was led by a trio of players including senior Tacarra Hayes, junior Jala Harris and sophomore Molly Heady.

The Tech three-headed monster combined for 48 of TTU's 68 points in the win over MSU, while they also notched a combined total of 19 rebounds and 10 assists. Hayes tallied 17 points, eight rebounds and seven assists, while Harris posted a game-high 18 points. Heady added 13 points of her own, to go along with seven rebounds.

Tennessee State (6-10, 2-2 OVC) snapped a two-game losing streak with its 67-57 win over Jacksonville State last Saturday. Tayla Foster posted a double-double with 14 points and 11 rebounds, with Alana Morris and Jasmin Shuler notching 12 and 11 points, respectively.

Shuler has led the Tiger offense on the season, averaging 14.9 points per game, while Foster has averaged 10.9 points and 5.4 rebounds per game.
