Purchase all-session ticket by Tuesday, Jan. 31 to
receive discount
COOKEVILLE, Tenn. -- Planning ahead can save Tennessee Tech
basketball fans a little money, and buying locally will allow
Golden Eagle fans to stand together when the time comes.
By planning ahead, Tech fans can purchase discounted all-session
tickets for the upcoming Ohio Valley Conference Basketball
Tournament, set for Feb. 29 through March 3 at Nashville's
Municipal Auditorium. An all-session pass gains admittance to every
game in the tourney, for both the men's and women's brackets. The
cost of an all-session ticket is $80, but if purchased BY TUESDAY,
Jan. 31, the cost is discounted to just $60 each.
Here's the only rub -- in order to sit with like-minded Golden
Eagle fans, Tech fans must purchase their OVC Tourney tickets from
the Athletics Ticket Office in Eblen Center. This applies to both
all-session tickets and individual session tickets.
Please note that reserved seating is limited and once a school's
allotment is purchased, only general admission tickets will be
available.
A $60 all-session ticket includes tickets to all seven sessions of
the OVC Championship, which includes seven men's games and seven
women's games (seating for women's games is all general admission).
Buying a ticket prior to Jan. 31 means each game of the
Championship costs just $4.29 apiece.
Beginning this season, the tickets in the lower arena will be
assigned via a quadrant seating assignment. That guarantees schools
participating in a given session will have the seats closest to the
court and grouped with their fans. Fans of schools not
participating in a specific session will sit in general admission
seats in the upper (balcony) level.
Please call the TTU Athletics Ticket Office to purchase tickets or
for additional ticket information. The number is (931)
372-3940.
