COOKEVILLE, Tenn. --- Looking to get back to its winning ways, the Tennessee Tech women's basketball team will make its return to the Hooper Eblen Center Saturday evening to kick off an Ohio Valley Conference doubleheader against Southeast Missouri.

The opening tip is set for 5:30 p.m., with the men's game slated to follow 30 minutes after the conclusion of the women's game.

Tennessee Tech returns home after a pair of road losses at Murray State and former OVC foe Western Kentucky. Senior Brittany Darling, senior Tacarra Hayes and sophomore Jala Harris kept up a consistent flow on offense as each player tallied at least 12 points in each game.

Against MSU, Hayes recorded her 11th career double-double with 24 points and 12 rebounds, while Darling nearly recorded a double-double of her own with 16 points and nine rebounds.

Darling continued her solid play against WKU as she posted 13 points and eight rebounds, while Hayes and Harris added 14 points each. Sophomore Molly Heady dropped in 10 points, as well.

Southeast Missouri (4-15, 1-5 OVC) is currently on a three-game slide, which includes a pair of home losses to Eastern Illinois and SIUE. The Redhawks are still looking for their first road win of the season, having gone 0-8 on the road thus far.

Baillie Roberts has led the Redhawk offense this season, averaging 9.4 points per game. She is followed closely by Brittany Harriel who is averaging 9.1 points and a team-leading 7.4 rebounds per game.

Saturday's doubleheader will be broadcast regionally on WCTE, as well as TTU's game on Monday against Tennessee State. The games will also be streamed on the web at ovcsports.tv.
