Setting the Stage:
The Golden Eages will play in the last game of a seven game homestand in the Eblen Center, but so far this season they haven't found a home advantage.

Tech has seen several different line-ups, and no single player has dominated the court. The Golden Eagles are a balanced team with a bench that has outscored every opponent so far this season.  They are looking to reverse a two game losing streak and gain some persepective on what this season has in store.

The Golden Eagles welcome another winless opponent to their court, but are seeking a different outcome. Tech is 2-3 on the season and in the midst of a two game losing streak.

Alcorn State and Tech have only met once before in the 1994-95 season. Tech won the game 85-69.

A Glance at the 2012-13 Golden Eagles
Diamond Hendson continues to lead the Golden Eagles with 17.2 points per game, despite playing only six minutes in Tech's last game. Henderson is shooting 54.1 % from the floor, joining T'Keyah Williams as the only other player shooting over 50% so far this season.

Lashay Davis and Kellie Cook are Tech's go to shooters for the tre, combining for over half of the teams threes scored. Despite their last outing, Tech has the second best scoring offense in the Ohio Valley Conference, averaging 67.6 ppg. The Golden Eagles also have the highest scoring margin in the OVC with +4.0.
