COOKEVILLE, Tenn. -- With so much at stake for both Tennessee Tech
basketball teams, the Athletics Dept. is hosting Fan
Appreciation Week for the two OVC doubleheaders. Fans can
get a free ticket with each ticket purchased for the Thursday games
against Eastern Kentucky and Saturday's doubleheader against
Morehead State.
The Golden Eagle men's team is battling to secure a spot in the
eight-team OVC Tournament, March 6-9, at the Nashville Municipal
Auditorium. The Tech women's team, meanwhile, is fighting to clinch
the top spot in the OVC East Division and one of the two two seeds
in the tournament.
A couple of special events are also schduled for Thursday's games.
It is Scout Night, as well as Military Appreciation Night. On
Saturday, Tech will recognize it's seniors on Senior Night.
