MILWAUKEE, Wis. – Game two of a five-game road trip for the Tennessee Tech men's basketball team tips off in Milwaukee, Wis. Saturday evening as the Golden Eagles will take on their third Horizon League opponent of the season, the Milwaukee Panthers.

Setting the Stage
The Golden Eagles will look to pull off a winning record over Horizon League teams this season when they take on the Panthers. Tech fell by three points to the Ramblers of Loyola Chicago on the road earlier this season before taking down the Green Bay Phoenix at home.

Tech owns a 3-1 series lead over Milwaukee, winning the first meeting 85-71 in Cookeville in 1989-90. Since then, the teams have met three other times, including a 2006-07 meeting in Milwaukee that saw the Golden Eagles prevail again, 72-67.

The Panthers are off to a slower start than anticipated, owning a 3-8 record. The team still has plenty to make the Golden Eagles nervous, however, boasting two guards averaging over 14 points per game.

Senior Paris Gulley leads Milwaukee with 15.8 points per game while junior Jordan Aaron chips in 14.8 a contest. Gulley, a Peoria, Ill. native scored a season-high 24 points at Northern Iowa. Aaron, a native of the Bronx in New York, has erupted for 20 or more in three contests this season, including 28 at South Carolina.

The Golden Eagles will look to bounce back following a rough shooting performance at Gardner-Webb last Saturday. The team managed to shoot just 30%, the lowest mark of the season, in route to a 61-41 loss. Tech will look to shoot more near their season average of 46.3% when they take on the Panthers.

Leading the offensive charge will be senior Jud Dillard and junior Jeremiah Samarrippas. Dillard, a guard from Atlanta, Ga. leads the team with over 18 points per contest while Samarrippas, a transfer guard from SMU, is averaging over 10 points per game. The Golden Eagles have won every game this season that Dillard has led the team in scoring, as well as every game he has scored at least 20 points.
