COOKEVILLE, Tenn. -- Since its inception in 2004, the Tennessee
Education Lottery has raised more than $2.5 billion for education
in the state of Tennessee. Many of those dollars have funded Hope
Scholarships for students, helping to fulfill their dreams of a
college education.
Included have been students from Tennessee Tech and many other
Tennessee-based colleges and universities. At a recent basketball
doubleheader, Tennessee Tech took a moment to recognize the
Tennessee Education Lottery and say thank you.
On the court for a commemorative check presentation were, from

Lottery President and CEO Rebecca Hargrove, TTU President Dr.
Philip Oldham, and Lottery board member Garry McNabb.
