COOKEVILLE, Tenn. -- The business community in Cookeville and
Putnam County will play a major role Saturday night in helping
Tennessee Tech enjoy a strong homecourt advantage when the Golden
Eagle basketball teams host Jacksonville State in an Ohio Valley
Conference doubleheader. Tech is hosting its annual Communiversity
Night in Eblen Center.
Every business in the Cookeville-Putnam County Chamber of Commerce
has been invited to the game and has received an offer for eight
free tickets.
Communiversity Night is one of several special promotions
surrounding the games. It will also be Youth Basketball Night, as
well as Play 4 Kay, a women's basketball initiative to raise
awareness for breast cancer care and research.
