COOKEVILLE, Tenn. -- Tennessee Tech's doubleheader against Eastern
Kentucky Thursday night has grown in importance, with both Golden
Eagle teams seeking crucial victories. It's a perfect night to call
on military and area scouts to help back Tech.
Free admission is being offered to both groups as Tech hosts
Military Appreciation Night and Scout Night.
For Scout Night, all youth who are involved in scouting on all
levels will be admitted to the game free when they are wearing
their scouting uniform or present a scouting ID. In addition to
their free admission, all scouts can purchase tickets for their
family members for just one dollar each. Tickets may be purchased
in advance or at the game.
Military and Public Safety Appreciation Night is being held in
recognition of the men and women who give the gift of Freedom to
all Americans and keep us safe every day. Tech invites all military
personnel, both active and retired, as well as persons working in
law enforcement, emergency and first responder fields, to be guests
at the game along with their immediate family members. The offer is
available by showing proper identification, and tickets can be
obtained either in advance or at the game.
The women's game tips off at 5:30 p.m. with the men's game to
follow at 7:30 p.m.
