Start times for 2012-13 Golden Eagle basketball games announced

COOKEVILLE, Tenn. -- Tennessee Tech has announced starting times for all Golden Eagle basketball games during the 2012-13 season, home and away. The season begins Monday, Nov. 5, with a women's exhibition game against Lee College at 7 p.m.

All of Tech's home single games will tip off at 7 p.m., while game times for seven doubleheaders feature a women's tipoff at 5:30 p.m. and the men's game at 7:30 p.m. One doubleheader will feature a slightly later start time -- on Saturday, Nov. 10, following the final home Golden Eagle football game of the year, the women's basketball game begins at 6 p.m. with the men's game at 8 p.m.

The road games for the women's and men's teams have a wide variety starting times.

A couple of OVC doubleheaders on the road have afternoon starting times. The twinbill at Jacksonville State on Dec. 29 begins with the women's game at 2 p.m. and the men's contest at 4:30 p.m. The doubleheader at SIU Edwardsville on Jan. 12 has starting times of 4 and 7:30 p.m.
