COOKEVILLE, Tenn. – The Tennessee Tech men's basketball team took some more time to help out in the community Friday morning, helping out at the Algood Elementary School Tomahawk Trot.

Several members of the Golden Eagles were present and made their prescence felt. On top of keeping the water coolers full for the students, many of the Tech players joined in the run, which consisted of making laps around the Algood Elementary School parking lot.

Algood uses the Tomahawk Trot as its main fundraiser each year, having the children collect pledges from parents and family friends for walking/jogging a certain amount of time.
