COOKEVILLE, Tenn.—Joining an elite group of Tech women's basketball players and becoming just the 29th Golden Eagle in school history to reach such a feat, senior Hannah Goolsby has tallied her 1,000th career point in last night's contest vs. OVC rival Belmont. Goolsby totaled 15 points in the matchup to bring her career-point total to 1,013 points.

The Cookeville native has been a four-year member on the Tech women's basketball team. She accumulated 271 points her freshman year, 268 her sophomore season, 249 her junior year, and now 225 so far her senior season. The ace from behind the arc continues to serve as the Golden Eagle's go-to player from downtown maintaining a career three-point field goal percentage of 33.2-percent. Goolsby becomes the first Golden Eagle player since last season's Samaria Howard to reach the accolade and has seen action in over 100 contests during her career averaging 30.6 minutes per game.
