COOKEVILLE, Tenn.—The Tennessee Tech women's basketball team (1-3) will tip-off their four-game road-stand with a 3 p.m. contest versus Radford University (1-1) at the Dedmon Center on Wednesday.

The Golden Eagles lead the series 1-0, with the first and only meeting occurring in the 1987-88 season when Tech defeated the Highlanders 60-59.

Hickson leads the Golden Eagles this season averaging 15.5 points per game, which ranks her sixth amongst OVC opponents. She shoots 46 percent from the field, 28.6 percent from the three-point range, and 75 percent from the line. 

Treyvonna Brooks is proving herself to be a key player on the Tech lineup as she stands as Tech's second leading scorer (averaging 7.0 points per game), third leading rebounder (averaging 4.0 off the glass per game), and is tied for second in steals with 7 on the year. 

Akia Harris had a huge last showing for Tech, dishing out a game and career-high 12 assists for the Golden Eagles versus Middle Tennessee. Her 3.8 assists per game marks her seventh in the OVC. Harris is also Tech's third leading scorer, averaging 6.8 points per game on the season while shooting 29.4 percent from the floor. 

Senior Hannah Goolsby is Tech's leader in rebounds. She has corralled 20 boards thus far this season (5.0 per game), while also tallying four blocks and 11 assists. 

As a team, the Golden Eagles shoot 34.4 percent from the field, 26.8 percent from downtown, and 67.8 percent from the charity stipe. Tech averages 36.5 boards and 17.8 turnovers per game. 

On the season, the Highlanders shoot 35.1 percent from the floor, 27.3 percent from beyond the arc, and 60.5 percent from the free throw line. Radford averages 36.0 caroms and 18.5 turnovers per game.

Destinee Walker leads the Highlanders averaging 12.0 points per game. Walker shoots 66.7 percent from the field, 60 percent from the three-point range, and 62.5 percent from the line. She is also tied for Radford's leading rebounder, averaging 6.0 boards per game. 

Jayda Worthy is another key player on the Highlander lineup. She is Radford's second leading scorer averaging 11.0 points per game, and is tied for the leading rebounder averaging 6.0 off the glass per game. Worthy shoots 60 percent from the field and 57.1 percent from the free throw line and also leads Radford in blocks with 10 on the year.
