COOKEVILLE, Tenn. – The Tennessee Tech women's basketball team is looking to give back to military veterans around the Upper Cumberland as the Golden Eagles open the 2016-17 regular season.
To celebrate Veterans Day, Tech will give a complementary ticket to any veteran or active personnel with a military ID as the Golden Eagles host Wright State.
"We want to thank our veterans for their service," said Tech women's basketball head coach Kim Rosamond. "They have given so much to make sure we preserve our freedoms and way of life. We welcome them to come out and celebrate the evening with us."
The game against Wright State tips off at 6 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 11.
