COOKEVILLE, Tenn. -- In the spirit of the season, Tennessee Tech
Athletics is giving Golden Eagle Baketball season ticket holders a
special treat for the next three home events -- an additional four
free tickets to each of the three doubleheaders.
"This is just a way to tell our season ticket holders they are
special fans, and a way to reward them for their support of the
Golden Eagles," said Misty Pearson, TTU director of corporate sales
and marketing. "Many of them will have family and friends visiting
for the holidays, and this way they can bring them along to Eblen
Center."
Season ticket holders will receive up to four free tickets for each
of the doubleheaders simply by contacting the Athletics Ticket
Office in Eblen Center, either in person or by phone
(931-372-3940). This offer is not available online.
Tech hosts games Saturday night (Dec. 19), with the women hosting
Belmont at 6 p.m. and the men facing Bryan College at 8 p.m.
On Wednesday, Dec. 30, the Golden Eagles face Bluefield at 5:30
p.m. in the women's game and Union College at 7:30 p.m. in the
men's game.
The third doubleheader included in this special holiday offer is
Tech's Ohio Valley Conference home opener, when Morehead State
visits on Thursday, Jan. 7, 2010, for a twinbill beginning at 5:30
p.m.
With most of the 2009-2010 home schedule still ahead, season
tickets are also still on sale. The offer will be available to any
new season ticket holders who purchases their season tickets by the
end of business on Wednesday, December 23.
The Athletics Ticket Office will be closed December 24 through
January 3, and will reopen on Monday, Jan. 4, 2010. Individual game
tickets and season tickets can still be ordered during that period
online at TTUsports.com.
