Golden Eagle Football Photo Day set for Saturday, Aug. 4 in Tucker Stadium

Photo Day is free and open to the public

COOKEVILLE, Tenn. - Football fans, families and friends are invited to Tennessee Tech's Tucker Stadium on Saturday, August 4, for the team’s annual Photo Day, which will take place on Overall Field from 10 a.m. until noon. It will be the first chance for fans to visit with the 2012 team as it begins its quesst to repeat as Ohio Valley Conference champions.

The Golden Eagles report to campus Friday, Aug. 3, to open fall camp, and will assemble on the field Saturday for the official team photo at 10 a.m. After that, individual and group photos will be taken, and fans are encouraged to meet with the players and coaching staff.

Tech opens the regular season on Thursday, Aug. 30, by hosting Hampton University, and season tickets are currently on sale. Fans visiting for Photo Day will have the chance to purchase season tickets, pick up posters and pocket schedules, and visit with the players and coaching staff.

Head coach Watson Brown, heading into his sixth season at the Golden Eagle controls, will welcome 90 players to camp. The veteran coach was named OVC Coach of the Year after leading Tech to a share of the 2011 OVC title and their first appearance in the NCAA FCS playoffs.
