COOKEVILLE, Tenn. -- Tennessee Tech is hosting its annual Football Legends Night on Saturday when the Golden Eagles host Jacksonville State in a crucial Ohio Valley Conference game in Tucker Stadium. Kickoff is at 7 p.m.

All former players are invited to participate, and are being asked to contact Kevin Bostian for details. All former players in attendance will be recognized, and a special presentation will be made for the 40th anniversary of the 1972 OVC championship team, and the 60th anniversary of the 1952 conference champions.

The activities begin at 4 p.m. with a special football alumni tailgate event under the large tent in the Magic 98.5 Tailgate Park.

"We've had a good response from former players," said Bostian, TTU Associate Athletic Director for Development, "but there are still many players throughout the region who we would love to hear from, and we hope they will contact us and plan to attend."
