COOKEVILLE, Tenn. – The Tennessee Tech women's basketball team has officially opened up the 2014-15 season with full practices in preparation for its first games. And, with the beginning of the season upon us, the team extends an invitation to all of its fans to the "Meet the Golden Eagles" event on Thursday, Oct. 16, beginning at 6 p.m. CT.

The dinner will be a potluck style event, organized by having people bring certain items. If your last name begins with the letters A through I, please bring an entree.  If your last name begins with the letters J through R, please bring a side dish, and if your last name begins with the letters S through Z, please bring a dessert. If there is something special that you would like to bring that does not go with your category, feel free to bring it. 

The team asks that fans remember to bring the necessary serving utensils to go with your dish. Plates, napkins, beverages, cups, and silverware will be provided. Tables will be set up around the concourse from the South Lot entrance.
