CITRUS SPRINGS, Fla. – Rain and thunder storms on Thursday
and Friday have forced the cancellation of the EKU El Diablo
Intercollegiate hosted by Eastern Kentucky University’s
women’s golf team in Citrus Springs, Fla.
After Thursday's two rounds were washed out, there was hope that
the teams could get onto the course for 18 holes Friday. However,
the rainy conditions continued and the entire event was
cancelled.
Coach Brandy Stout's team will now play in the three-day Samford
Invitational beginning Sunday.
