COOKEVILLE, Tenn. – It has turned into a nearly yearly tradition for the Tennessee Tech tennis team and TTU Athletics wants you to join in on the celebration.
After claiming another OVC Tournament title behind a 4-1 win over top-seed Belmont in Sunday's championship finale, the Golden Eagles are headed to another NCAA Tournament. Tech will learn its draw and destination in the field of 64 on Monday, May 2 with the official NCAA Tournament selection show at 5 p.m. CT and all fans are welcome to attend, free of charge, a special viewing party in the Eagles Nest on the fourth floor of the Hooper Eblen Center. Those attending are encouraged to arrive at 4:30 p.m.
Light refreshments will be served and the whole team and coaching staff will be in attendance to revel in the joyous occasion.
Tech's victory over Belmont led the Golden Eagles to their 11th OVC Tournament championship and fifth in the last six completed seasons.
