Golden Eagle tennis puts lid on fall slate with action at Wake Forest Fall Invitational

COOKEVILLE, Tenn. – The Tennessee Tech tennis team will tie a ribbon on the 2021 fall campaign, as the Golden Eagles are set to flock to the Wake Forest Fall Invitational to seal the deal on the club's autumn season. Tech's finale is a three-day event to be played at the Wake Forest Tennis Center in Winston-Salem, N.C.

The Golden Eagles will take only two of its seven on the roster, with Mika Berghaus and Elias Grubert slated to compete in singles play in a single-elimination draw.

Berghaus and Grubert march into the last fall event with strong autumn resumes in their back pocket. Berghaus owns a 7-2 singles ledger this season, while Grubert possess an 8-2 solo mark.

Overall, two Golden Eagles own double-digit singles wins this fall, with Evzen Holis holding down a 13-4 singles record and Rafael Tosetto collecting a 10-4 solo account.
