KENNESAW, Ga. – The Tennessee Tech tennis team was unable to check the win column in the squad's final match in the month of February, as the Golden Eagles fell 6-1 at Kennesaw State Saturday evening.

Tech (0-6) claimed one win during singles action, using an Andre Rodeia 6-4, 6-1 triumph over Seru Tezuka in the No. 4 position as the lone nod during solo play. The Owls (5-3) secured wins in the top three spots behind a Matthew Terry 6-2, 6-3 victory against Elias Grubert in the No. 1 battle, a Raul Garcia 7-6 (7-2), 6-3 decision over Mika Berghaus in the No. 2 get-together and a Harvey Conway 6-3, 6-3 nod against Evzen Holis in the No. 3 affair.

KSU claimed the last matchup with a Daniel Botti 4-6, 6-4, 10-1 win against Jun Sasagawa in the No. 6 slot, while Rafael Tosetto was saddled with a loss in the No. 5 position after retiring in the first set, trailing 3-1 to Hugo Salmeron.

The Owls jumped out to an early edge after capturing the doubles point thanks to wins in both completed clashes.
