COOKEVILLE, Tenn. – Another weekend brings another event for the Tennessee Tech tennis team, as the Golden Eagles continue their autumn ledger with action in the Belmont Fall Invitational in Nashville. Tech will play Friday, Saturday and Sunday in what will be Belmont's first-ever men's tennis event during the fall, hosting schools solely from the state of Tennessee at the new Belmont Tennis Complex, part of the Crockett Center for Athletic Excellence.

The three-day slate will include the Bruins, the Golden Eagles, Lipscomb and Chattanooga and will feature matchups between each school that will see the teams square off with four rounds of doubles play and eight rounds of singles action. TTU will meet Chattanooga at 3 p.m. CT on Friday, before locking up with Belmont at 11 a.m. on Saturday and Lipscomb at 3 p.m. on Sunday.

Tech has enjoyed a successful fall over their first three events, which includes most recently wrapping up action in the ITA Men's All-American Championships in Tulsa, Okla. All four Golden Eagles that participated claimed singles wins in the premier event, highlighted by Andre Rodeia and Carlos Vicente who advanced all the way to the round of 64.

Evzen Holis has compiled TTU's strongest run in the three tournaments, securing four victories en route to a quarterfinal appearance in the ITA Ohio Valley Regionals in Knoxville. The 6-foot-2 sophomore out of Brno, Czech Republic boats an 8-3 solo mark this fall. Rafael Tosetto has looked sharped as well thanks to a 7-2 singles record over the first three tourneys.
