COOKEVILLE, Tenn. – Aspiring baseball players have a variety of options to learn from the coaching staff at Tennessee Tech this summer, with Steve Smith Baseball Camps set to begin in early June.

The summer lineup of options includes three youth camps, two skills camps and a prospect camp. Check-in for all camps will take place at Quillen Field and Bush Stadium at the Averitt Express Baseball Complex approximately 45 minutes prior to the start of the camp.

Youth Camps will span two days each and feature dates of June 7-8, June 9-10 and July 5-6. Youth Camps are for grade school ballplayers ages 6-13 (8th grade and younger). Camp staff will emphasize hitting, fielding, base running, and throwing fundamentals. These camps will focus on all aspects of the game. Each player will have an opportunity to use new skills in games and will learn drills and techniques they can use on their own. Campers will be divided by age and ability for all drills.
