Weekend baseball series changed, doubleheader slated for Saturday, single game set for Sunday

COOKEVILLE, Tenn. – This weekend's Ohio Valley Conference baseball series between Tennessee Tech and Eastern Illinois has been shifted back a day, due to expected poor field conditions at Quillen Field and Bush Stadium at the Averitt Expres Baseball Complex on Friday.

With severe weather and heavy rain expected in the Cookeville area Wednesday evening and Thursday, the series will now feature a doubleheader on Saturday beginning at 12 p.m. CT. Game two of the day is expected to begin at approximately 3:30 p.m.

The series finale is now scheduled for Sunday at 1 p.m. All three games are currently slated to appear on ESPN+.
