Every student-athlete has a story, details about themselves and their background that extend beyond just the playing field and athletics. 

Throughout the summer, we will take a look at the members of the Tennessee Tech women's basketball team and get to know more about them, the student-athletes who are representing not just their home communities, but also the University, Cookeville and the Upper Cumberland as they don the purple and gold. We asked the team to provide 10 facts about themselves that they want you, the fans, to know about them.

Today's subject is graduate Jordan Brock. The program's record-holder in 3-pointers, Brock returns for her sixth season with the Golden Eagles. With 1,305 career points, Brock stands in 19^th all-time in program history and could break into the Top 10 by the conclusion of the 2022-23 campaign.

Here's 10 things Brock wants you to know about her:

1. I'm an old soul. I enjoy watching older movies, especially '80s movies and musicals.
2. I LOVE music. '80s classic rock and '80s to '90s country is my go-to. Country music is my overall favorite music.
3. I am a dog mom to the best pup, Grizzly. He is three years old and he is a husky-pitt mix.
4. I have a MAJOR sweet tooth. All of the time. My favorites are sea salt caramel Ghirardelli's, Raffaello's, Snickers and Mounds. Ralph's chocolate donut NEVER disappoints.
5. I have a younger brother – John Brady (21).
6. I was actually on the cheerleading team in the fifth grade. My mom was my coach.
7. I really enjoy watching all kinds of different sports but football season is my favorite.
8. My dad worked in the coal mines when I was growing up, and I have been three miles deep in an underground coal mine.
9. My fiancé and I met here at Tennessee Tech my sophomore year. He transferred here from Florence Darlington, South Carolina, to play baseball. We are both from Kentucky and we were engaged last December.
10. Coming to Tennessee Tech has been the best time of my life. I am super blessed to have the opportunity to play here. I am so thankful for the people this game and university have brought into my life. I know six years is a long time to be here, but I am extremely grateful I have another chance to play again. #WingsUp for life, baby.
