COOKEVILLE, Tenn. – Four newbies are ready to make an impact for the Tennessee Tech women's golf team as head coach Polk Brown announced the newest additions to the Golden Eagle squad with the 2015 signing class recently.

Included in the group set to hit the links in 2015-16 are Tennessee natives Shelby Johnson (pictured far left) of Sparta, Hollee Sadler (left center) of Manchester, Arianna Clemmer (far right) of Milan and Lindsay Miller (right center) of Nashville.

"We are thrilled to bring in these ladies next fall," Brown said. "They will make an immediate impact on the team. They have tremendous talent, work ethic and just an unbelievable desire to be successful. It has been a blessing to get to know each of them and to be able to bring them aboard. We look forward to great things from them in the future and I have no doubt that they will contribute to the continued rise of this program for years to come."

Here's a closer look at the 2015 signing class:

Shelby Johnson – White County High School (Sparta, Tenn.)
Johnson qualified for the 2014 TSSAA Class AAA State Championships three straight years, improving each season. As a sophomore she tied for 15th overall and jumped to a tie for 12th as a junior. In her final season with White County High School, she edged into a tie for ninth place individually.

"I am beyond excited and thankful to be a part of the TTU golf family," Johnson said. "I'm so blessed to be on a team with such talent and potential for success. To play for a program with such amazing coaches and players has always been my lifelong dream, and now it's a reality. I can't wait to see what the future holds."

Hollee Sadler – Coffee County Central High School (Manchester, Tenn.)
Tying for 19th place overall at the 2013 TSSAA Class AAA State Championships wasn't enough for Sadler, who came back in 2014 looking for something much bigger. She found it, leading Coffee County Central High School to a second-place finish while tying for third individually.

"I am so thankful for the opportunity to play for such a great program," Sadler said. "I'm thrilled to be a part of the Golden Eagle family and can't wait to see all the history we will make. I am ready to W-I-N. I am honored to be a part of the "Fab 4 Freshmen" coming aboard next year. This is an opportunity of a lifetime, and I look forward to making every second count."

Arianna Clemmer – Milan High School (Milan, Tenn.)
As a junior, Clemmer managed a ninth-place showing at the 2013 TSSAA Class A-AA State Championships, helping Milan High School to fourth place. She led the school to another fourth-place finish in 2014, finishing in second place overall behind a fantastic first-round of 72.

"Wow!  I'm finally realizing my dream of playing Division I golf at such a great institution," Clemmer said. "I'm blessed to be part of the "Fab Four Freshman" and together with the returning players, I look forward to great things. I'm so proud to be a part of the Tennessee Tech family. We will settle for nothing less than CHAMPIONSHIPS."

Lindsay Miller – Ensworth High School (Nashville, Tenn.)
Miller built off a very successful junior season in which she finished sixth individually while leading Ensworth High School to a second-place finish at the 2013 TSSAA Division II-AA State Championships. In 2014 she showed what she had built, placing fourth overall and helping her team to a tie for third place as a senior.

"I am so excited to join a very talented TTU women's golf team," Miller said. "I look forward to working hard and contributing to the team's future success. I can't wait to be a part of the Golden Eagle family!"
