COOKEVILLE, Tenn. – After closing out the fall with three straight top five finishes, the spring season couldn't get here soon enough for the Tennessee Tech women's golf team. The Golden Eagles finally get their chance to hit the links on Monday as they head south for Mobile, Ala. and the USA Women's Invitational.

Play will commence on Monday at the Azalea City Golf Club with an 8:15 a.m. CST start, with 36 holes on the docket for the day. The final 18 holes will be played on Tuesday, which will also feature an 8:15 a.m. shotgun start.

The Azalea City Golf Club is a par 72 course, spanning 6,071 yards. Here's a look at the participating teams:

"We're very excited to get down to some warmer temperatures," head coach Polk Brown said. "The girls have really gotten after it since they returned from break and I'm looking forward to seeing how they perform in the first event of the spring. It will be nice to head south and play somewhere that will give us a good chance to compete and experience a nicer climate. We've made the adjustment here over the past few weeks, but we can't wait to get to a friendlier environment to start the season."
