SEVIERVILLE, Tenn. – The final round of the women's tournament at the fourth annual Bobby Nichols Intercollegiate is set for a golden finish Tuesday on the Highlands Course of the Sevierville Golf Club.

The Golden Eagles of Southern Mississippi own the lead after 36 holes, followed by host Tennessee Tech's Golden Eagles in second place. The Oakland Golden Grizzlies are third heading into Tuesday's final 18 holes – which are expected to take place under golden sunshine and the best weather of the three-day event.

Southern Miss, which came into the day with a 10-shot lead over Youngstown State, once again posted the low round of the chilly afternoon with a 306 for a two-day, 611 total. The TTU Golden Eagles answered with the second-best score of the day with a 308, and moved into second place at 624.

Tech holds a 12-shot advantage over Oakland in third place, after the Golden Grizzlies fired a 314, the third-best score of the round.

Youngstown State is fourth at 315-325—640, with Austin Peay in fifth place at 322-322—644. UNC Greensboro fell from third to sixth (316-335—651), followed in the 12-team field by Florida Atlantic (660), Evansville (665), Carson-Newman (668), Western Illinois (670), Radford (689) and Tennessee State (724).

Four of Tech's players are in the Top 11, including two Golden Eagles tied for fifth individually after solid rounds Monday despite tough weather conditions.

Freshman Hollee Sadler followed her opening round of 80 with a 75 Monday, the second-best score of the day to lift her from 16th place into a tie for fifth. She leads the tournament in par 4 scoring, and has the second-most pars (22) in the first 36 holes. Junior Whitney Robertson improved one shot to a second-round 77, and sits tied with Sadler for fifth at 155.

Close behind is senior Maddi Everts in tie for seventh place, after rounds of 77 and 79 for a 156 total. In 11th place is sophomore Allyson Dunn, who shot 81-77 for a 158 total. She ranks third in the field in par 3 scoring, and is tied for the most birdies (5) in the field. Tech's lineup is rounded out by senior Megan Williamson, who has identical rounds of 84 for a 168 total.

Youngstown State's Emily Dixon owns a one-shot lead individually, combining rounds of 74 and 75 for a 149 total, just ahead of Valentia Haupt of Southern Miss at 150. First round leader Devon Spriddle of Southern Miss slipped from a 72 to an 88, and is dropped to 14th place at 160.

Tech has four players among the 14 competing individually in the tournament. Freshman Lindsay Miller leads that group with 80-83—163 to tie for 23rd place. Haley Davidson is at 82-90—172, followed by teammates Lydia Triplett (88-92—180) and Anna Cunningham (97-87—184).

Tuesday's final round begins with a shotgun start at 10 a.m.
