COOKEVILLE, Tenn. – The Tennessee Tech women's golf team will make a change in plans for its third event of the year this week. Following a state of emergency declared in South Carolina due to weather, the CSU Invitational at Rivertowne, originally scheduled for Monday and Tuesday (Oct. 5-6) at the Rivertowne Country Club in Charleston, S.C., has been moved to the par-72, 5,965-yard Château Élan Golf Club in Braselton, Ga., with the Kennesaw State women's golf team set to co-host the tournament with Charleston Southern.  

The tournament, which will now be called the Fall Invitational, will consist of 54 holes, with 36 holes contested on Monday on the Chateau course and 18 holes set for Tuesday on the Woodlands course. Tee times for Monday will start at 8 p.m. with a shotgun start on Tuesday also at 8 a.m.

Thirteen teams will make up the field for the Fall Invitational, including three in-state rivals of the Golden Eagle squad. Here's a look at the participating teams:

"We're really just glad to still have the opportunity to go out and compete this week," head coach Polk Brown said, "especially with the state of emergency declared down in South Carolina this weekend. Chateu Elan will be new to us all and I know we are ready for whatever challenges are thrown our way. I'm excited to see how we adapt to the change thrown our way."
