COOKEVILLE, Tenn. – Another week means another opportunity for the Tennessee Tech women's golf team to hit the links as the Golden Eagles visit familiar in-state rival Middle Tennessee for the Blue Raider Invitational Monday and Tuesday.
The 54-hole event will feature 36 holes on Monday, beginning with a shotgun start at 8:15 a.m., and the final 18 holes on Tuesday, wrapping up with an 8:30 a.m. shotgun start. All play will take place at Old Fort Golf Club and will feature a 6,369-yard layout playing at a par of 72.
Murfreesboro, Tenn. native Megan Williamson will look to build off of last year's stellar performance in her hometown when she set the program 54-hole scoring mark with a final card reading 218. Tech finished fourth in the event, with Williamson earning All-Tournament honors after a third-place finish.
A huge field of 17 teams make up this year's event, including four other Ohio Valley Conference programs. Here is a look at the participating teams:

"We're looking to rebound after last week's event in which we struggled to adapt to some tough conditions on the greens," head coach Polk Brown said. "This team is excited to get to Murfreesboro and play on a course that most of them know very well. With 17 teams, there is a ton of quality competition and we expect to go out and build off the successful run we had there last year."
